Built for plaintiff-side practice

Your associate has read
the entire file.

Luma reads every page of every document in a matter, extracts the facts with a citation back to the source, and drafts the demand in your firm’s own voice. You review the work — you don’t assemble it.

The actual problem

The facts of the case are buried in three hundred pages.

Not in an intake form. In medical records, personnel files, text message exports and recorded calls. Document assembly fills a template from fields you type — which assumes somebody has already done the reading. That reading is the job.

Reading
A paralegal spends hours building a chronology from a medical file.
Missing things
A treatment gap or a contradicting date is found by opposing counsel first.
Starting over
Every demand begins from a blank page, or from a past letter with the wrong facts in it.
What Luma does

Reads the record. Cites the source. Drafts in your voice.

Practice areas

Not a general legal AI pointed at your file.

Each practice area has its own extraction rules, its own agents and its own vocabulary. An SSDI matter refers to the claimant; an employment matter builds a termination timeline; a PI matter separates reported complaints from clinical findings.

Why you can rely on it

Checkable, not just confident.

The risk with AI in legal work is not that it writes badly. It is that it writes plausibly about something that is not in the record. Luma is built so every factual claim traces to the page it came from — and so a draft can be audited against the file before it leaves the office.

Every fact cites its page
Quotes are matched against the source before they are kept.
Contradictions surfaced
When two documents disagree, both are shown.
Drafts audited against the record
Supported, not found, or contradicted — with the language quoted.
Your data is not training data
Isolated per firm, encrypted, never used to train models.
Pricing

Priced per firm, not per seat.

Add everyone at the firm on any plan. You pay for the matters you run, so cost tracks the work rather than the headcount.

Questions

The ones firms actually ask.

Does Luma make things up?+

Every fact Luma extracts carries a citation to the document and page it came from, and quotes are matched against the source text before they are kept. Drafts can be run back through the record, which reports each factual assertion as supported, not found, or contradicted. It cannot make hallucination impossible — no system can — but it makes it visible and checkable rather than something you have to catch by reading everything yourself.

What happens to our client data?+

Your matters are isolated to your firm. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and is never used to train models. Documents you delete are removed along with everything derived from them — extracted facts, embeddings and generated drafts.

How long does a case file take to process?+

A typical document is read in two to five minutes, and several process at once. A large file uploaded all at once queues and works through steadily, so a first-day bulk import of an entire caseload can take a few hours. You do not have to wait for it — the matter becomes usable as documents complete.

Do we have to change how we write?+

No. Upload a past demand letter and Luma follows its structure and register. Firm templates are followed section by section, and Skills let you record a standard once and apply it to every agent that should follow it.

Is this a document assembly tool?+

No. Document assembly fills a template from fields you type. Luma reads the underlying record, works out what the facts are, and drafts from those facts with citations. The difference shows up on a case where the story is in three hundred pages of medical records rather than in an intake form.

What if we practice in more than one area?+

Each firm is set to a practice area, which determines the standard agents. Custom agents can be built for anything else you handle, and firms running multiple practices typically use separate workspaces.

Can we cancel?+

Yes, monthly, from inside the app. Your data stays available for export for 30 days after cancellation.
