Every fact Luma extracts carries a citation to the document and page it came from, and quotes are matched against the source text before they are kept. Drafts can be run back through the record, which reports each factual assertion as supported, not found, or contradicted. It cannot make hallucination impossible — no system can — but it makes it visible and checkable rather than something you have to catch by reading everything yourself.
Your matters are isolated to your firm. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and is never used to train models. Documents you delete are removed along with everything derived from them — extracted facts, embeddings and generated drafts.
A typical document is read in two to five minutes, and several process at once. A large file uploaded all at once queues and works through steadily, so a first-day bulk import of an entire caseload can take a few hours.
